Our HistoryOmni was started by someone like you. In 1945, near the end of World War II, while stationed in France, a young Staff Sergeant tried to get a loan – and was denied. The reason? They said he was only a young serviceman with no credit experience. He vowed that one day he’d start a company that would help people like himself - people like you. In 1950, he made good on his vow – and started a company called American Finance Company. Later, he opened Omni Military Loans®. Today, more than a half century later, Omni Loans® has offices and representatives at major military installations across the United States and also representatives across Europe. Our CommitmentWe work with you to find the loan and repayment schedule you can best afford. If you have a good credit track record you'll find that we can offer you very competitive rates. If your credit is less than perfect...not to worry...we've seen that before and we will work hard to get you approved. We work with military bases as part of MWR and MCCS programs and offer free credit counseling programs. You’ll also see Omni involved with unit recognition programs on many bases, as well. Most offices are open 9 am to 7 pm weekdays, 10 am to 4 pm Saturday.
